The Chip Shot — Ngorongoro & Serengeti Golf

The Chip Shot is proof that a short trip can still be extraordinary. Fly from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 metres into the crater — a natural amphitheatre where over 25,000 large animals roam in permanent residence. Lion, elephant, buffalo, flamingo-fringed soda lakes, and the critically endangered black rhino fill a single morning of game driving. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, transfer to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for a sunset game drive through the western corridor. The following morning belongs to the course: a full 18 holes at Serengeti National Park Golf Course, where zebra graze beside the practice green and the Par 3 twelfth tees off across a dry riverbed frequented by leopard.
