The open-air restaurant overlooks the Nile and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets with a mix of Ugandan and international cuisine. Freshly grilled Nile perch is the signature dish. The bar serves cold beers, cocktails, and a selection of wines. Packed lunches are provided for full-day game drives.
Activities include boat cruises to the base of Murchison Falls, game drives on the northern bank, top-of-the-falls hike, chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest, sport fishing for Nile perch, birding excursions targeting shoebill stork, cultural visits to local communities, and sunset cocktails on the riverbank.
Murchison Falls supports elephants, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalo, and Uganda kobs. The Nile hosts enormous hippo pods and Nile crocodiles. The rare shoebill stork inhabits the papyrus swamps in the delta region. Over 450 bird species include Abyssinian ground hornbill, Goliath heron, and African fish eagle.
The dry seasons of December to February and June to September offer the best game viewing and road conditions. The boat cruise operates year-round and is always spectacular. The wet season (March–May, October–November) brings lush landscapes and excellent birding opportunities.
